About Alt Shift Up

Our story

The work behind Alt Shift Up started with software for businesses that ran on paper ledgers, spreadsheets and copy-paste. We have worked on a point-of-sale and stock system for shops in Bangladesh (first built as ShopStock), a pharmacy management system, billing for an internet service provider that runs on WhatsApp, an ERP for garment factories and tools that crawl business websites and check email addresses. The same problem kept coming back: people spending their day moving the same numbers from one place to another.

In September 2026 we registered ALT SHIFT UP PTY LTD in New South Wales, Australia, to bring that work under one name. We take on client projects, and we will release our own software and services under this name too.

What we do

We build the software a business actually runs on: inventory and point of sale, pharmacy and ISP operations, ERP and billing. Then we automate the data around it: collecting it, cleaning it, and moving it between the tools you already use, so nobody has to copy rows by hand.

We work only with data you own or are authorised to use. Every project starts with a written scope and price, and ends with everything handed over in your name.

Why the name

Alt, Shift and Up are keys most of us press every day. In many code editors the combination moves or copies a line upward; on Windows, Alt and Shift switch the keyboard between languages. We liked a name that is a shortcut: press it on any page of this site and see what happens.
